Kawasaki introduced the new Jet Ski STX-160R with many new updates regarding its predecessor however it did not mention on its specification that the new boat was equipped with a larger pump, intake grate, ride plate and sponsons from the Ultra LX model. Was that just the beginning? Back in 2006 a Supercharged STX-15F powered by Bill Chapin has given the first ever world title to Kawasaki in Pro Runabout Open Class at the World Finals where Chris Mac Clugage dominated the class. Whilst a few years ago Jean-Bruno Pastorello won the Pro Endurance class in Poland on a Supercharged STX and then that boat never appeared on any other race again. Therefore, there is a great chance to see Kawasaki launching a whole new Supercharged STX-R in the 2027 line up in order to match the play buy the rules with the other manufacturers in the same class. Seven days will remain until the final countdown to the official launch of the new Kawasaki Jet Ski units for the 2027.
