There is a lot of talking regarding the performance of the new Kawasaki STX-160R specifically its top speed. However what is true about it? The new R features a larger pump which has been selected by the R&D of Kawasaki in order to improve stability and handling. Therefore, since the engine output has remained the same the larger pump signifies a small reduction in top speed figures in the range of 4-5km/h according to the facts of the KMC spokesman. Meanwhile the dash and the speed counter of the STX-160 was very optimistic and its readings has been shown a little bit higher than it was supposed to be and this is the reason that makes the owners of the new R being a little bit confused.
