Και όμως καλά ακούσατε… Την φωτογραφία δημοσίευσε στο παρελθόν ο Kinte Helle και σύντομα θα δημοσιεύσουμε κάποια τεχνικά στοιχεία της κατασκευής που στήθηκε για αγώνες Dragster. Δεν είναι άσχημη ιδέα…

Πρόκειται για το σκάφος που έχει κατασκευάσει η North Customs σε συνεργασία με τον Peteris Kitins. Διαθέτει γάστρα από RXP-X T3 carbon και deck από Yamaha FZR. Κομπλέ το σκάφος με μοτέρ και καύσιμο ζυγίζει 317kg ωστόσο πωλείται χωρίς το μοτέρ στην τιμή των 20.000δολαρίων. Όποιος είναι ζεστός γράφει στον Kitins (Peteris.Kitins@gmail.com

Στο εικονιζόμενο κιτ έχουμε αναφερθεί στο παρελθόν ωστόσο πλέον έχει δεχθεί μικρή αναβάθμιση και περιέχει επιπλέον μεγαλύτερα μπεκ και επαναπρογραμματιζόμενη ECU. Στα προηγούμενα μέρη συμπεριλανβάνονται το κιτ της τροχαλίας (δύο τροχαλίες) και ο τεντωτήρας του ιμάντα. Όλα μαζί στοιχίζουν 3090ευρώ και αυξάνουν τις επιδόσεις του συνόλου στην επιτάχυνση και την τελική ταχύτητα. Η τελευταία αγγίζει τα 123-124χλμ./ώρα στις 8.400σ.α.λ. Είναι διαθέσιμο από το 88motorsport.fi και τοποθετείται στην Αθήνα στο κατάστημα Champions (τηλ.:210-9405623).

The particular hull is a whole new project. This new hull shares exactly the same dimensions with the Kawasaki V-Drive hull. Hull weight is 89lbs and Hood 11lbs in the ES hull layup schedule. The pump intake is same as the Vector Kawasaki and accommodates a Skat-Trak 145mm pump. The hull is setup for the triple cylinder or can be ordered for the twin cylinder engine. Ride plate is the same as Vector K, which is a modified TBM and the Intake is Jet Dynamics on this build. The hull does not have built in front sponsons since it is a matter a rider’s preference to have them installed or not. Hulls will be available direct from Trinity Composites and can also order through Steve Webster of Kommander Industries. Price is 5499.99USD.

Tim Gewecke of Bullett Racing provided us the right information regarding the new Bullett Racing Blaster B1 hull. “The hull has our proprietary intake system, yes similar to the one we run the in the BullettV2. The rear hull extensions are ours as well. The Sponsons, are sponsons that we ran on our championship winning Yamaha GPR R/A's. Right now the hull is equipped with a 1100 Kawasaki triple-cylinder engine, coupler, carrier bearing assembly, pump and nozzle assembly and a Bullett Racing drive shaft. Plans in the future are to outfit the blaster with all the Yamaha running gear. At time of testing and the time frame of the World Finals we have set these up with Kawasaki running gear. Both Chris Macclugage and Aaron Gewecke will be piloting these at the World Finals this year.”

Όλο και αυξάνονται οι συμμετοχές στις ΗΠΑ στους τοπικούς αγώνες καθώς και του National στην κατηγορία Vintage. Όπως αντιλαμβάνεται κανείς το κόστος είναι μικρό στο να βρει ένα παλιό σκάφος και ακόμη μικρότερο αν το είχε ήδη ξεχασμένο στο γκαράζ του. Να λοιπόν που υπάρχουν εύκολες λύσεις για φθηνούς αγώνες. Δεν χρειάζεται να είμαστε Large αν το πορτοφόλι είναι χωρίς πάτο για να βάλεις βενζίνη σε ένα μοντέρνο Runabout. Φωτ.: Tim Campbell
