This is the brand new intercooler that R&D uses recently at the World Finals on MacClugages Pro Runabout Open racecraft. This particular Open version was originally designed for Open applications and it is more efficient -200%- over stock one. The particular intercooler features a larger body and inter core that promises to cool down and shrink air at inlet therefore, to add substantial improvement to overall engine performance. According to Chapin this new intercooler keeps the temperature at a low level, around 85 degrees which is 20 degrees above the air were breathing. It mounts on top of the reservoir on its own mount bracket. It will be available from R&D soon.
