This is one of the very first prototype hulls that Clayton Jacobson II, the actual inventor of Ski and Runabout made approximately 40 years ago. The particular hull shares lots of similarities with the first Kawasaki Jet Ski 400 hull that was brought later out of the production line. This hull was actually featured at the Old School Museum during the World Finals in Havasu. There were more than 35 years of testing and experimenting involved from this handcrafted prototype to the final SX-R hull that Kawasaki produced back in 2003. I strongly believe that each and every one of us, the Jet Ski riders, have to pay respect for Jacobson II that actually provided us with such an amazing toy and introduced us to a whole new Sport.
