We have heard in the past that some aftermarket ride plates were getting out of shape when high forces were applied to them. Though, there is a possibility to get an over stressed ride plate even when it is new out the box stock watercraft. Possibly the reason behind its out of shape surface is the method of its mass production. We have seen this happening on SX-R plates, and due to this reason those crafts were unstable at high speeds or when you changing direction and the craft was flipped from one side to the other. The fact is that the actual SX-R plate was initially very well designed and it is perfect to use under certain conditions or when it will be slightly modified.
