Well, he actually found some ways to get more top speed meanwhile making the boat more stable and predictable at speeds higher than 60mph. Queen modified the current built in front sponsons and also he changed the intake grate and ride plate design. Actually Mark Queen requested from Bullett Racing to build him a longer ride plate than the one they sell with the ski. He also changed the angle of the drive line of the ski a fact that resulted to the change of the entire balance of the ski. He mentioned that the balance of the ski is much better and not as twitchy and sensitive. In other words is more predictable and it is faster with the longer planning surface.
