>JETTRIBE in Asia

The Jettribe Travel Team has wrapped up another event in Asia. Here is what Jared Ajlouny had to say about his trip: Had an amazing time in China and am honoured to be a part of the Jettribe family. >Blowsion Racing Update

Closed Course Moto Surf racing is back for 2014, however we have changed the registration approach this year to adapt to the challenges and cost planning for all involved. We will need 20 confirmed Racers (combined from Pro and Amateur classes) pre-registered by August 15th 2014 in order for us to cover the cost of running a full closed course buoy course. The online registration link is here: https://www.blowsion.com/2013-blowsion-surfslam-race-entry-fee. This registration fee cost will not be billed at the time of registering. You will need a valid credit card to register, however we will not be processing any charges until September 1st after we have confirmed and met the minimum rider registration needed to hold full closed course races. What happens if we don’t meet that minimum? Never fear—we will go to a “Dash for Cash” race approach with a simple five buoy “W” formation course and maximum payout based on number of riders who have registered. Once registered you will be contacted via email with continued updates as well as news postings here and on the Surfslam website. For those riders and racers wanting to test the water and see what Moto Surf riding and racing is all about before jumping in to a full race moto we will again be offering monitored practice and training sessions on the left and right turn buoy race course. >Kevin Reiterer reports from Europe

“What can I say... I did everything to get the European title and would have won it. But after a buoy went lose on the track in the last Moto and due to the track changes they did that weekend I got confused and went twice to a wrong marker. I realised it and picked up the black buoy a couple of times because I had a big lead anyway. After the Moto we had a meeting with the three podium finishes about the penalty. Peter de Smet took responsibility for the track and said we should be voting for the decision and they will decide. Valentin Dardillat would have gotten second if I didn't get a penalty. he didn't want to win that way and voted for no penalty and he was confused as well on the track. However the race organisation decided that I will be penalized. I am not the only one I guess that has gone through a huge failure of the organisation this weekend. This is not how races should go and how European titles should be decided. As a matter of fact I will not be continuing to follow the last round of the tour, as well as I am out of the championship due to points already. Thank you to all the people that put a lot of effort in doing this event and showing Austria our sport! It has been a asshome! It's been a great pleasure to have Team Flamingo here and lots of family and friends supporting! And Valentin and his family for his great sportsmanship- you are the man! Thanks to all my sponsors: Commerzialbank, Ernst Just, Kylie Ellmers, Laura Ullrich, Benjamin BNI Francois, Yuki Francois Kurahashi and the whole Team.”

Sets all time record of five total championships beating legendary racer Billy Womack's record of four! Kawasaki Sweeps podium with Warner, Heidler of PWCOFFSHORE.COM CORE Team and Kanamori (on a box stock 310) all on the Kawasaki Ultra platform. Yamaha and/or SeaDoo does not answer for offshore in 2014 at LB2CAT. Kawasaki Dominates. Those to watch Mark Gerner DNF's with a mechanical on the next-gen Turbo Kawasaki ULTRA, Tera Laho DNF's with a mechanical on the Yamaha SVHO and two time and current Australian Offshore Champion Christian D’Agostin, Queensland, AU goes down and DNF's early with a blown cooling line - many were looking forward to seeing Christian test his steel with the best of offshore and were sorry to see him go down so early in this race.
