The new Yamaha platform has already been tested by www.jetskiworld.gr However there was a unique opportunity to test the new craft (published on Tests section) with bolt on R&D parts, such ar an Power Plenum Filter and an R3 Reflash ECU. This allows the craft to rev easier and to gain some speed. Among with an R&D Solas impeller the craft’s performance was improved substantially. The top speed was increased from 61mph stock to 64mph. Not so bad for simply fitting a few bolt on parts.

Offshore Racing Legend and PWCOFFSHORE Hall of Famer Billy Womack to participate in awards ceremony awarding the new PWCOFFSHORE Hall of Fame member to be inducted in July of 2012 at the 2012 LB2CAT. Womack made history on racing his tricky Polaris's.

All Ski riders that competed in Karujet 2012 race deserve the congratulations since it was a big achievement bearing in mind the wavy and windy conditions. After four days racing on the podium were found three French rider, Valentin Dardillat, second Vincent Villat and third, Jimmy Pons. Top five places were completed by Waldeck Deumier and Morgan Poret.

A day after the completion of the event and the final results have not been published even on UIM’s web page. There is a lot of talking involved about the results and timing of the second day in this four day race. However, since we have not been present to event we are not able to criticize anything. The fact is that Davy Vaitilingon won the race in Pro Runabout class on a Kawasaki Ultra 300X prepared by Farthing Racing. On the other hand American rider Craig Warner was very unlucky since his Farthing Racing race boat broke down many times as he experienced many issues (like overheating problems, etc.) although he leaded the race many times. Things were not very positive for Team Pastorello for another year in Guadeloupe. The final results will be published as soon as they will be released officially.

Karen Jacobs, not only was she the mother of the great Jeff Jacobs, but she was always a fierce competitor in the Pro Womens Ski during the late 1980's and early 90's. Jet Ski enthusiasts and old time spectators still remember her or even had watched her on the video tape in the early nineties. Well done Karen.
