Sato Engineering recently revealed the modification that it carries to an R&D Yamaha pipe in order to install it on a Kawasaki (800SX-R/800X-2). Sato Engineering modify this pipe for either to plug it to the OEM cylinder or to a Billet cylinder conversion. Still it makes us wonder why anyone will do all this work since he can simply buy a Factory Pipe for the Kawasaki SX-R or X-2? We will find out…

This is the latest edition of SE carburettors. These Shower carburettors feature 24 tiny fuel holes inside the bore. They are based on Mikuni's SBN carburettors though they are bored to 49mm. This is Limited edition made only for Racing use. Chris MacClugage had used the SE 48 carbs on his R&D prepared SX-R back in 2006. The pictured vessel is available in three versions and it is equipped with a Suzuki –motorcycle based- engine. The displacement varies from 1100cc to 1400cc and the horse power range from 95hp to 155hp. The design looks very familiar with the Sea Doo XP215, on the other hand, the quality and overall finish is kept at a very low lever. The cost of the three models varies from 6.900-7.900-8.900euros.
