Many hose connections are impossible to access without removing your engine or components, so it’s extremely important that you can trust the connector 100%. It’s difficult to determine exactly which clamp you need, so we have assembled a “Starter Kit” with (4) each of the most common clamp sizes. We recommend you purchase the kit, determine which clamps you will use most often and purchase individually as needed. This kit isn’t cheap, but the cost of replacing an engine due to a faulty hose clamp is much greater. 35 different sizes are included (140 clamps per kit) for the price or $58.80usd. We have been using this tool for almost a month and all we have to say is that it is a MUST HAVE tool for your workshop or your tool box. It is lightweight and easy to use. Measuring units are Nm, kg-cm, ft-lb and in-lb in a range of 8-80Nm. It offers a set a trace mode and a peak mode and everything is adjusted via three buttons. When you are reaching 90% of th target value an intermittent buzzer will start to worn you. Then when the target value is reached, a high-frequent buzzer will warn you not to pull any further. The ratchet wrench is connected to the top (female adapter) and the socket or extension to the male socket. It is not waterproof so you have to be aware of that. It is recommended 100%. Since it is official that Chris MacClugage will be racing with Kommander K1 we asked Chris what are his first thoughts regarding the K1 triple. He tested the same Ski (Dustin’s practice Ski) on Friday before the Mark Hahn race. “I loved it! It was way less aggressive to ride than what I have been racing. Which makes a more comfortable ride for an old guy like me. I am excited as we will work on a specific Macc model for Dustin and myself to sell.”
