This is a Kawasaki JS650SX of 1988 and since it was bought it has never ridden on the water! Its owner is no other than the jet ski collector, Ty McFarland who actually rebuilds and keeps all his genuine or race skis in an immaculate condition. McFarland and Gary Hart of Jettrim are both responsible for the Old School Museum that will be presented in Havasu for second year in a row during the IJSBA World Finals.

We know already that the global market is full of these peculiar bracelets which promise to keep away the unwanted frequencies (mobile phones, electric appliances, etc) from the human body... Well, someone has applied the same principal to the engines. The Japanese company SEV is making those stripes that you stick them to particular places on the engine. According to Seiji (Jetter.p) who uses one on his Ultra 260X he mentioned “The motor was operating on the rev limit as soon as I put it on the engine.” We plan to find more about it in the near future.

Another speed up module in the market, this time from the Japanese company SE. Like the other ones we have already seen in the market it promises to unleash the true performance of the 300X power plant. Additionally, the particular one promises higher top speed up to +7mph over the stock 300X. Is this true or not? We wait until it will be confirmed on a test.

Air Time Products of UK have designed and manufactured its own version of twin-spar handlepole. The particular pole which is illustrated on a Rickter hull might share the same idea but it has its own spec. On the other hand someone may think why would you change it anyways? Well, it is a matter of design and possibly a difference in the overall cost...

The photo was taken by Seiji Uchihashi of Jetter.jp in Japan. Actually someone managed to fit a triple Kawasaki engine inside the engine compartment of the X-2. It is an interesting project and looks very nice the way everything fits inside. Well done.

The particular picture was taken by Chad Cole and it was send to us. It is nice to see that some companies that sponsor riders in a sport also take care of them. Such an ad is good for the sport and good for Monster Energy too. Companies which were involved into jet ski racing used to do it a lot in the past, early nineties, but not any more. So keep it coming.
